Every photograph published here is free-licensed or produced by almawqii. Below are the author, licence, source and date of each image, plus our takedown policy.

How we choose images

Every photograph comes from free-licensed media repositories (mostly Wikimedia Commons) or was produced for almawqii. We use no “fair use” imagery, no agency pictures, no screenshots of third-party sites, and we never strip a credit line.

Files are resized, cropped for display and converted to WebP: this technical modification is stated where the licence requires it, and the original licence is always linked.

If you hold the rights to an image used here and consider its use unauthorised, write to us: it will be removed without argument and without delay.
